Imaging Announces SpeedScan -- SunRise Imaging, Inc.
(SRI), the global leader in high-performance microfilm scanning
products, today announced a new generation microfilm scanner,
with its signature 3-in-1 capabilities. The SunRise scanners
allow scanning of virtually any type of fiche, rollfilm, and
aperture card microfilm.
In keeping with its tradition since 1991, SunRise Imaging continues
to lead the microfilm scanner industry by incorporating the latest
in technology with an integrated computer running Microsoft XP
operating system, plus its fifth generation ScanFlo application
software, which is familiar to users worldwide.
The latest, and most powerful version of ScanFlo includes many
of the capabilities that were once options (such as Image Density
Compensation, Gamma Correction, Grayscale). In addition, new
capabilities have been developed to provide higher level of functionality.
One of the most significant examples of this is the software’s
ability to capture the images in dual stream mode – bi-tonal
and 8-bit grayscale – at the same time, thereby eliminating
the need to rescan.
The SunRise 3-in-1 scanning system consists of a Base Unit,
which includes the scanner controls, computer, software,
and camera. One of the three modules (rollfilm, fiche, or
aperture card) completes the system for the type of media
that is required to be scanned.

CT – April 4, 2006 -
Scan-Optics, LLC, an internationally acknowledged innovator
and provider of information capture and recognition solutions,

party maintenance and professional services. Under the terms
of the agreement, Imaging 411 will expand their product offerings
to resell Scan-Optics’ SO Series of high-performance
production paper scanners to complement their existing line
of products and services. The partnership will extend Scan-Optics’ product
line into national markets, as well as into insurance, legal,
government and service bureau industries.
“Scan-Optics’ SO Series scanners represent the ‘top of the
line’ scanners for paper image capture,” said Gary Armstrong President
and Joseph Paradiso, CEO, both co-founders of Imaging 411. “In addition,
Scan-Optics’ technology will allow our customers to maximize their productivity
without the addition of any labor.”
As a leading provider of document capture solutions for both
film and paper, Imaging 411 needed a production-grade scanning

- Sept 12, 2005 - Imaging
411, The Document Capture Company.
Imaging 411 Inc, announced a new brand
confirming the Company’s position and intention
to further dominate and participate in the growing
document capture market with a clear value
proposition based on the sale and support
of hardware and software products that will
assist service bureaus and end users to more
effectively convert their documents on paper
and film to electronic images. This new brand
and marketing campaign is
a result of extensive market
research, and customer
feedback that was designed
to effectively communicate
the Company’s focus on our
customers’ growing need
to convert their critical business documents to
image for the purposes of disaster recovery, cost
reduction, and improved business practices.
In the last five years, the world has witnessed
numerous natural and man-made disasters which
have resulted in the loss of life and documents critical to businesses
and history. Paper, film, and aperture cards all present challenges
to their owners in the space they require for storage,
their deterioration of quality over time, and the
difficulty of maintaining backups in the case of
a disaster. Images require very little physical
space, do not deteriorate over time, and can be easily duplicated
and can be cheaply stored in multiple locations.
Imaging 411 has dedicated the Companys’
efforts to identifying document capture products
and the best practices for customers to convert
documents more efficiently and cost effectively
with reduced capital
expenditures. This was a
natural evolution for Imaging
411, as the Principals in the
Company have over 30 years of combined experience in the
document capture industry.
Imaging 411’s solutions are aimed at achieving
ongoing efficiency gains and cost savings for
their customers by offering tailored solutions that
meet their specific requirements. Our marketing
strategy going forward clearly positions Imaging
411 as major provider of document capture
solutions with a very clear value-proposition
we expect our customers to embrace. With it’s
existing vendor relationships and experience,
Imaging 411 is in a perfect position to become the
leading provider of document capture solutions.
