"Best Image Quality"
"Reliability"
"Performance"
"3 in 1 Capability"
"Value"
Those are the top five reasons cited by our customers when asked to describe why they purchased a SunRise scanner. Those reasons were good enough for us when we agreed to become the exclusive US distributor and service provider for SunRise Imaging.
SunRise was the pioneer of production
film scanners, releasing their first scanner in 1990 called
the SRI-50. The SRI-50 and the
models that proceeded it set the benchmark for the indusry,
just as the SpeedScan and TurboScan do today for the very
same reasons you see above.
Image Quality
SunRise Imaging has always been committed to providing the highest image quality available, leading the industry with 12 bit grayscale output, TrueDPI, and IDC II. These proprietary technologies were the reason SunRise scanners were selected by image archivists to digitize the worlds most precious film.
Reliability
SunRise scanners are the industry workhorses, often being expected to run 24/7 for long periods of time without failure. SunRise scanners meet those challenges time and time again. Just ask some of our customers that still run the original SRI-50.
Performance
The SunRise scanners are capable of scanning 24x roll film up to 320 images per minute at 200 dpi capturing both bi-tonal and grayscale simultaneously. Or 640 images per minute if you are comparing us to our competitions specifications.
3 in 1 & Value
These go hand in hand as no other production film scanner manufacturer is capable of scanning roll film, fiche and aperture cards with a single scanner. This 3 in 1 capability allows our customers to maximize their potential income while minimizing their investment as the additional modules are a fraction of the cost of specialized scanners. |

| SunRise
SpeedScan: Fast, Flexible and Affordable - Breaking All The
Rules |
The
new SunRise SpeedScan breaks all the rules with it's ability
to scan rollfilm, fiche, and aperture cards at up to 220
images per minute in dual stream (bi-tonal and grayscale)
yet has an MSRP of $45,000.
No other scanner manufacturer
produces a scanner capable of scanning all three media within
one unit. When you factor in the performance, flexibility,
and MSRP there is not a scanner manufacturer that can come
close to matching the ROI of a SunRise SpeedScan.
